This was our first stay in Cape Town and from start to finish the staff made us so very welcome. They were all so friendly, helpful and genuine it was a pleasure to be in their company. Ebraheim was especially lovely as were Jonathan and all of the waiting staff ( Nes, Oni and Bongi in particular). The location to the city and the waterfront was ideal. A nice walk along the waterways or use of the complimentary water taxi was perfect. The food in the hotel was outstanding! Breakfast was included and covered every option. The choices were excellent and the quality superb. The buffet was substantial and on top of this you could order off the menu. Everything we tried was fresh, hot and tasty, notably the Shaksuka. The beetroot bread was also a highlight. We ate numerous times in the restaurant in the evening as the standard was so high. The fish specials were exceptional and despite eating at the waterfront we wanted to keep coming back to the hotel as it was just so good. On top of this the prices were so reasonable it was crazy not to keep enjoying it. The rooms were spacious, had everything you need and were kept spotlessly clean. Just make sure you get a mountain view as the harbour is a working port. All in all a fantastic stay with outstanding staff and food. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at AC Marriott for 10 days. We had a room in the 5th floor with a corner window. So we were lucky to have a view over the whole city, the lions head, table mountain and devils peak. We hiked them all :-) This is incredible! The food was really amazing. The breakfast was organised as a buffet plus special orders for special hot drinks and eggs (egg Benedict or individual Omelette) was included. The dinner was a la carte, very sophisticated and completed with a local wine and cocktail list. For snacks and cold drinks during the day, there is a little market in the hotel where you can buy chilled vine & beer, sweets and fruit salad and other snack. The selection is good and prices are fair. The hotel is located near the waterfront, which is a very modern and beautiful part of Cape Town. You can go there by foot along the canals which is really beautiful. The hotel offers a shuttle and a boat service to go there as well. The hotel is really well organised, staff is always more than friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot an would totally recommend it when planning to explore Cape Town and the surrounding areas.

Excellent hotel, great value for money. Large and comfortable rooms, complete with little amenities like a couch, toiletries, hair dryer, iron, etc and very clean and nicely kept. The breakfast was rich and nutritious, complete with extras like to-order omelets and poached eggs. I am lactose intolerant so it was wonderful to be able to get lactose free drinks and food. The staff is superb, super helpful, polite and kind. The reception is always staffed with hospitable and well trained people. Everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable and cater to any needs we had. The wifi works very well and the rooms have large screen TVs. The shower was perfect, pressurized warm water. It was also important that we did not feel the effects of the scheduled power cuts that happen every day in Cape Town.

The staff was really helpful and welcoming at the get go, they made us feel right at home. We had a room with a mountain view that absolutely blows your mind.... The rooms were clean, comfortable and of decent size. The location of the hotel was ideal for our purpose as it is a mere 10 to 15 min walk to the V&A. Ubers were easily accessible to and from the hotel with a comfortable and safe drop-off area. We also spent some time lazing around at the amazing pool area with a lovely view of the mountain to the one side and the harbor to the other. They offered a nice and fully stocked breakfast in the mornings that hit the spot and got us ready for the days activities.... Overal it was a great experience and will definitely visit again when visiting this part of Cape Town again.

The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was huge, clean, with coffee machine and we got complementary coffee pods. The AC/heating was adjustable, window was openable, so no problems with too hot/too cold rooms. Breakfast was great, very varied. Restaurant is also very good. Little shop at the ground floor was helpful if we wanted something small to eat. The shuttle was very useful when we wanted to go to the waterfront. The consierge helped with booking very good programs. Everything was really exceptional.
